Sky Bar

The Mt. Washington Tavern Sky Bar is a modern and unique gathering spot located in the heart of Mt. Washington Village. In the warmer months (April through September) the outdoor deck beckons as one of Baltimore’s most popular dining and hang spots. When the weather turns cooler, the Sky Bar’s cozy indoor tables and inviting fireplace are the place to be both before and after local sports games, or for a casual lunch and dinner. The Sky Bar offers a distinctive location to host a reception for work colleagues as well as your closest family and friends.

Chesapeake Room

The Chesapeake Room is on the first floor of the Mt. Washington Tavern and evokes East Coast charm in a bistro-like setting. The décor is reminiscent of the room’s namesake with wood paneling, large photographs of the Chesapeake Bay and boating memorabilia adorning the walls. A retractable roof allows natural light to sweep the room by day and with starlight after dark. The raw bar features the very best fresh oysters and is a perfect compliment to the room and menu. With large banquettes and an oversized bar featuring the friendliest bartenders around, the Chesapeake Room is perfect for family dining, business gatherings, date night and more.

Pimlico Room

The Pimlico Room is a sophisticated party room with the Tavern's familiar vibe. The d é cor speaks to Maryland's horse-racing heritage with one-of-a-kind photographs and memorabilia from Preakness and other local races (including many jockey silks, even Secretariat's!). Wood beams drape the ceiling and a fireplace keeps the room warm and cozy. Located on the second floor of the Tavern, the Pimlico Room is easily accessible by a staircase or elevator and is adjacent to the connecting Sky Bar. The Pimlico Room may be configured to accommodate parties large or small, and is a perfect gathering spot for celebrations of any kind.

Main Bar

The Main Bar greets you as soon as you walk in. As the only surviving structure from the Tavern's fire in 2011, this place holds a lot of love and history to both our employees and our regulars. Cozy booth seats, a shuffleboard table and many TVs for game-watching, this is the heart of the Tavern's originality.
